Florida Real Estate Journal's Web presence was operating on a proprietary content manager that was near end-of-life. The site reached near 50% downtime when Matt Townsend began rebuilding the site in Drupal.

The project involved mimicking the behavior, structure and appearance of the former content manager. Then, the source content for the previous database - those 18,000 articles - were cleaned up using UNIX text handlers and imported into the new Drupal site.

New features were added to the site, including community interaction, mapping and better editing tools.
